Last weekend was the first weekend in what seems like forever that I got to photography an engagement session!

Engagement sessions will always be one of my favorite sessions ever. We have time to explore locations, learn about the couple, and capture beautiful moments between the two.

Kelsey and Matt were such a blast and so full of love for one another. All my couples that have photographed with me before know kind of my system that we do when taking pictures. I caught myself stopping and not saying anything for a couple seconds because they just interact so naturally with one another!

Kelsey and Matt met here in Minot, and have been together 5 years and now tying the knot & I couldn’t be more excited for them! Kelsey is my kind of gal and loves all things glamorous! When she arrived & I saw her purple dress I was OBSESSED! So cute! Asked her where she got it & Maurice’s. Which is one of my absolute favorite clothing stores! On top of all that it had POCKETS! If you are a girl and you find out a dress has pockets- there is a little bit of your world that feels complete! Am I right?

Their wedding is in October! It seems so far away- but I also have a feeling it’s going to be here before we know it! I miss photographing weddings so much (thanks Covid) I personally can not wait to start capturing a piece of everyone’s love stories again!
